
A relationship is a precious part of life. At its best it is empowering, energising, fun. There’s nothing like the connection and it feels complete.
When a relationship is not going well, it can be lonely, confusing, hurtful and sad. Many couples seek counselling when they realise they have moved from feeling complete with one another to wondering if the relationship will survive. There may be constant conflict or just bickering, negative patterns of behaviour or difficult external influences which are having a detrimental impact.

My aim is to work with you as a couple to identify and change negative patterns which have developed, to improve your communication and strengthen your ability to resolve conflict in a positive way, to negotiate effectively and ultimately to heal the rifts which have developed between you.
As with individual counselling there is no “quick fix”. Sometimes it can take a few sessions to feel that things are changing and to uncover possibilities for the relationship flourishing but your relationship is worth the commitment and time involved.
